Theme : Wines of spain

Wines of Spain is our theme for this month's Hyde Park Wine Society dinner. Join us for a four-course dinner by Executive Chef Carlos Cruz alongside carefully selected wine pairings.

The menu includes:

Gazpacho Shooter made with heirloom tomato gazpacho, spiced croutons paired with Ostatu Rose, Rioja Rosado

Melon Salad with honeydew, melon vinaigrette, jamon serrano, manchego, and pan tomate paired with Mountain Bianco, dry Moscatel

Paella Del Mar with arroz bomba, clams, mussels, prawn, and saffron with La Zorra Tempranillo

Crema Catalan with burnt sugar, orange blossom custard, cinnamon streusel paired with Molino Real Moscatel

The  Hyde Park Wine Society convenes on the third Tuesday of each month to provide an interactive dining experience built around a monthly theme. Join us to learn about the art of food and wine pairing from the experts!

In August we're hosting a Chicago Food Bowl event featuring a regionally-inspired four-course dinner by Executive Chef Carlos Cruz alongside Chicago wine pairings by City Winery.

The menu includes:

Widmer Cheese Cellars’ cheddar beer shooter amuse paired with 2016 Chardonnay Scopus Vineyard

Hearth-blistered heirloom tomato salad, Taleggio cheese, torn hearth bread, balsamic pearls, basil, Cajun spiced nuts paired with 2015 Pinot Noir Verna's Vineyard

Hearth-roasted lamb belly, black garlic, Kholrabi sauerkraut, popcorn grits paired with 2015 Pinot Noir Hyland Vineyard

Cherry hand pie paired with 2015 Vin L'Orange Doux
